Specific Need

As the Forest is prepared to celebrate the 50th Anniversary in 2026, the memorial waterfall and pond honoring one of our founders, Joe Carrigan, needs repairs totaling $15,000. This includes a new liner, the replacement of many stones, new parts, and some landscaping. Joe Carrigan loved the International Forest of. Friendship and toiled tirelessly for nearly 30 years in building and maintaining the Forest to celebrate "world friendship through flight." The vision he shared with his co-founder, Fay Gillis Wells, continues today as the Board plans for a spectacular celebration in 2026!

Make a difference! Let’s repair the Memorial Waterfall and Pond honoring fourder Joe Carrigan for the 50^th Anniversary of the International Forest of Friendship! Several of Joe Carrigan's grandchildren serve on some of the committees for the Forest and they say, "Save Papa Joe's pond!"
