Goal: $12,000.00
Specific Need
One of our greatest priorities today is completing the CARE for ALL Capital Campaign. While our new downtown Atchison clinic is now open and caring for patients, we are still raising the remaining funds needed to complete this transformational project.
As the only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Atchison County, AllWays Community Health Center serves as a primary source of care for thousands of residents who are uninsured, underinsured, or face barriers to accessing healthcare.
Thanks to the support of our community, our new downtown facility now provides integrated medical and behavioral health services in a modern, patient-centered space. Our original clinic on North 2nd Street has been transformed into a dedicated dental center, expanding access to oral healthcare for children and adults.
Together, these two facilities allow us to:
- Serve more patients closer to home
- Reduce wait times for appointments
- Improve coordination between medical, behavioral health, and dental care
- Expand access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for our community
While the doors are open and patients are already benefiting from these expanded services, our work isn't finished. Completing the CARE for ALL Capital Campaign will help ensure this investment in our community is fully realized and that AllWays Community Health Center can continue providing compassionate, comprehensive care for generations to come.
Together, we can ensure that no one goes without the care they need because of cost, distance, or limited access.
Mission
Our Mission: AllWays Community Health Center offers compassionate, high-quality healthcare for all.

Profile
AllWays Community Health Center began as the Atchison Community Health Clinic, opening its doors in 2009 when physicians Dr. Chad Johanning and Dr. Aaron Sinclair, with the strong support of Atchison Hospital, recognized the need for accessible primary healthcare for uninsured and underinsured residents of Atchison and the surrounding communities. What started as a volunteer-led clinic quickly grew to meet increasing community needs, earning designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 2015. Since then, the organization has remained committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, affordable healthcare to thousands of patients each year.
The roots of our dental services run even deeper. Marian Dental Clinic in Topeka and St. Vincent's Clinic in Leavenworth were founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in the 1980s under the leadership of Sister Rosalie Mahoney. Established to address significant unmet healthcare needs, both clinics became trusted community resources, providing compassionate dental care to individuals regardless of their ability to pay or religious affiliation. Their work has always been grounded in the values of compassion, respect for human dignity, and a commitment to serving those most in need.
In July 2024, Marian Dental Clinic and St. Vincent's Clinic became part of Atchison Community Health Clinic, creating a stronger, more integrated organization dedicated to expanding access to care across northeast Kansas. In 2025, the organization became AllWays Community Health Center, reflecting its growth beyond a single community and its commitment to providing integrated medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare across the region.
Today, AllWays Community Health Center proudly carries forward the shared legacy of these organizations—ensuring that compassion, dignity, accessibility, and exceptional care remain at the heart of everything we do as we continue improving health and changing lives throughout the communities we serve.
