Giving Honor to God, our Mission is to celebrate and honor those African-American ancestors who survived the institution of bondage and to keep their dream of freedom alive. To promote "Unity in the Community" by bringing a diversity of American people together, To Celebrate, To Educate, To Enrich and Empower the youth and their families with the African-American history that continues to influence society today.Profile
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that plans several activities for one weekend in June to celebrate Juneteenth Freedom Day. We request funding to keep our celebration free for all.
Juneteenth (June 19, 1865) is also known as African-American Freedom Day. It is a celebration originating from the Emancipation Proclamation. In cities across the country, people of all races, nationalities, and religions come together in Unity to celebrate, educate, reflect and rejoice!
