Specific Need

Funds to maintain and increase our collection of reference materials.  To provide interestng and informational programs at our monthly meetings. Begin scanning our obituary collection into digital form in order to protect it from loss.  Obtain a laptop computer with lage menory and back up portable hard drive, plus assiciated warranties and IT help for these digital devices.

Mission

To collect, copy, preserve and perpetuate the genealogical records of the Atchison County , Kansas area.

To acquire, index and publish public & private genealogical and historical materials for public use.

To assist, encourage & instruct members and others in careful documentation in genealotical research and compilation.

To cooperate with other organizations to further the same purposes.  To issue publications
