We have a monetary need as we are directly funding the students education while enrolled in higher education.

Mission

The Atchison Leaders’ Scholarship, awarded and funded by the Atchison Community Educational Foundation, benefits underrepresented high school graduates and is intended to develop Atchison County youth, through an opportunity of higher education by providing financial assistance for them to attend a regionalcollege (in Kansas, Missouri, or Nebraska) of their choice. Created for the purpose of assisting at-risk youth with the opportunity to receive a higher education and develop home-grown leadership for Atchison’s future.

Profile

The foundation was developed with the sole purpose of assisting under represented youth in the community, to position young people to become vital contributors in the community's growth and development. The foundation provides that help through educational and mentoring programs that develop future leadership for the Atchison community.
